An exciting addition to the ORIgen program for 2022 for special consideration to be used in Southern climates and areas with large amounts of fescue, his very popular sire calculated the top research EPD for hair shedding in 2021 in addition to ranking Number 12 among active Angus sires for progeny registered in the 2021 fiscal year of the American Angus Association. Produced as a heifer’s first calf, his dam is the result of mating the powerful Pathfinder Sire Rampage to a beautiful Pathfinder Dam and Stats had a weaning ratio of 115 and a yearling ratio of 109 in the Mohnen performance program. The Pathfinder grandam of Stats was produced by a daughter of Mohnen Ruth 1531E who is also the dam of the Pathfinder third Dam of the $16,000 Mohnen Dakota 2528 selected in 2019 by Montana Ranch that is now a herd sire now also working in the Ellingson herd in North Dakota. As of 11-24-21, among all ORIgen Angus sires, Number 5 for $Weaned calf value index, top 6 for Calving Ease Direct EPD and top 7 for Calving Ease Maternal EPD. Ultra-elite for $Weaned calf value index, elite for Weaning Weight EPD and Calving Ease Direct EPD and superior for $Combined value index, $Maternal value index and Yearling Weight EPD.
