Purchased by C-Cross Cattle Company in the 2019 Building a Legacy Sale, Southeastern is the highest selling bull ($24,000) in the history of the Kittle Farms program. His pedigree merges the top two donors in the Kittle Farms program, his paternal granddam, KCF Miss Fortune U490 (dam of multiple AI Sires, including Chief Justice, New Horizon, Black Baron, and Final Frontier) and his dam, JKGF Ladybug A012 (dam of the record setting Balancer Sire Ditka C85). As the maternal brother to Ditka C85, Southeastern allows breeders to take advantage of the eye appeal, performance, and EPDs of the popular Ditka line but in a Purebred Gelbvieh package. Southeastern checks even the most difficult boxes to reach in current Purebred genetics , with exceptional carcass traits (including a top 2 percent mark for Ribeye Area), confirmed Homozygous Black and Homozygous Polled, and a pedigree that is an outcross to the popular Carolina Leverage line.
